1. Return Eligibility

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in original condition

  • The item must be in original packaging, including all accessories, manuals, and documentation

  • The product must not show signs of use, installation, or damage

  • Proof of purchase (invoice or order confirmation) is required

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return, unless defective:

  • Custom or special-order products

  • Electrical components, once installed

  • Used or refurbished engines after installation or test run

  • Fluids, oils, lubricants, and chemicals

  • Clearance or final-sale items


2. How to Initiate a Return

Please include:

  • Order number

  • Product name

  • Reason for return

  • Photos or videos (if item is damaged or defective)

Our team will provide return authorization instructions and shipping details.

⚠️ Returns sent without authorization may not be accepted.


3. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the return is due to a defective, damaged, or incorrect item.

  • We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping service.

  • Boots Shop Bodensee is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.


4. Refund Policy

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval or rejection.

Approved Refunds

  • Refunds are processed within 3–7 business days after inspection

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider

Partial Refunds (if applicable)

Partial refunds may be issued for:

  • Items not in original condition

  • Missing accessories or packaging

  • Signs of handling, installation, or use


5. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  2. Contact your credit card provider or bank

6. Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or incorrect.

7. Damaged or Defective Items

If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please provide:

  • Photos or videos of the issue

  • Packaging images

  • Order number

We will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund at no extra cost.


8. Outboard Motors & Machinery Returns (Special Terms)

Due to the nature of outboard motors, heavy machinery, and industrial equipment:

  • Returns are only accepted if the item has not been installed, used, fueled, or powered on

  • Once installed or used, returns are not accepted, except for verified manufacturing defects

  • Warranty claims will be handled according to the manufacturer’s warranty policy


9. Order Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled before shipment.

Once the order has been shipped, standard return procedures apply.
